Desktop app updates

If you prefer to use Nuclino inside its own window instead of yet another browser tab, you'd be pleased to know that the Nuclino desktop app has been upgraded to a new browser engine, which comes with improved performance and security.

We have also released a number of additional enhancements and fixes:

  • The app will no longer generate warnings during installation on macOS.

  • You can now use swipe gestures to move forward and backward on macOS.

  • You can now use the back and forward buttons of your mouse in the app.

  • The app will remember the size and position of the window after you close it.

  • There is now a fixed minimum window size.

Improved notification experience

We designed Nuclino to enable focused work with as few distractions as possible. At the same time, we want to make sure you never miss an important notification or update from your team. This month, we have tweaked the notification experience to make sure that doesn't happen.

Now, you will automatically follow every item you create. Whenever someone on your team adds, resolves, or replies to a comment in that item, you will be notified, even if they didn't mention you. This applies to both, inline and item-level comments.

This will help you stay in the loop and easily keep track of all discussions about the content you create.
