nuclino-product-update

This update brings a mix of improvements across the board, including the version history, desktop and Android apps, pricing, and lots of other small tweaks, fixes, and enhancements.

Here’s a quick look at what’s new.

Improved version history

We’ve made some great improvements to how changes are tracked in the version history, in particular when it comes to deleted content. Here’s a quick look at what’s changed:

  • All deleted content is now highlighted more clearly, so you can quickly spot it.

  • For the developers out there, we've made it easier to see the changes in code blocks.

  • Found something useful in a deleted section? Now you can copy it directly from there.

...and more!

Desktop app upgrade

For those using the desktop app, we've rolled out an upgrade to a new engine, bringing faster performance, better security, and improved stability. On top of that, if you're using Windows you'll also notice that we’ve revamped the styling of notifications.

Android app improvements

For Android users, we’ve tackled some issues with image and file uploads. No matter which version of Android you’re using, uploads now work smoothly, so you can easily manage your content on the go.

Simplified pricing

We've simplified our pricing and introduced two new plans, Starter and Business!

For teams looking to get the most out of Nuclino, the new Business plan offers the best value. It includes all the benefits of the old Premium plan – like the audit log, team insights, advanced security controls, and extra storage – as well as the full version of Sidekick (AI). Everything in one simple package, with no add-ons or extra costs.

Interested in switching to the Business plan? Simply go to your billing settings and upgrade your subscription.

Other small but impactful changes

It's often the details that define the entire experience. Here are some of the improvements we've released since our last update:

  • You can now use longer, more descriptive names for your workspaces (up to 30 characters).

  • Sidekick (AI) now provides quicker responses and improved writing suggestions.

  • We've improved support for embedding MindMeister and LucidChart diagrams.

  • Code blocks now offer new syntax highlighting options for Bash and HTTP.

  • We've made it easier to understand how much storage your team is using.

  • SVG images now maintain correct proportions when opened.

  • We've improved the contrast of certain elements in dark mode.

  • It's now easier to see when you're offline while using Nuclino.

  • We've improved support for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters in PDF export.

  • When importing Word documents, strikethrough and highlighted text now maintains its formatting.
