Building on the momentum of our previous updates, we've continued improving the search functionality based on your feedback, added a way to annotate images, polished the editing experience, and more.
Here's a recap of all the new features and enhancements you may have missed.
You can now add captions to your images to provide additional context that may not be immediately apparent from the image itself. It will also help you organize and categorize your images more effectively, making it easier to search for the visuals you need.
To add a caption to an image, right-click it and select Caption from the menu.
Improving the search experience in Nuclino has been a key priority for us over the past few months, and this is the latest addition to our ongoing effort. Now you can restrict the full-text search to your currently open workspace, so you can narrow down your search results and quickly find what you need.
After typing your search query and pressing Enter
, click on All workspaces above the list of search results and select the current workspace.
Whether you're working with code, writing content, or collaborating with others, a smooth editing experience is critical for maintaining a productive workflow. To help you focus more on the content and less on the process, we've addressed a few small but annoying issues:
You can now paste text from other tools without worrying about awkward line breaks.
We've improved the way lists work, especially when it comes to copying, cutting, and pasting nested list items.
Deleting empty content blocks is now easier (no more getting trapped inside a quote).
Markdown commands are now disabled inside inline code to prevent formatting issues.
Pressing Backspace
or Delete
next to elements like images and videos will now select them instead of deleting them.
Our editor now does a better job of handling line indentation inside code blocks.
It's often the details that define the entire experience. Here are some of the improvements we've released since our last update:
Team members are now ordered better when mentioning them. This is particularly useful in large teams that have members with similar names.
The HTML and Word import feature just got a subtle yet impactful upgrade. From now on, all images in your documents will be reliably imported, even if they're embedded within other content.
